Oliver is a member of School District #53 in the Okanagan Similkameen with Oliver Elementary School with kindergarten to grade seven and Tuc-el Nuit Elementary also with classes from K to 7. Southern Okanagan Secondary School is a public high school in Oliver with grades 8 to 12. The school district provides bus services for students who live outside of designated walk limits. Oliver is home to 2 pre-schools, the Quail’s Nest Arts Centre and Oliver Centre as part of Okanagan College.


With convenient access along Highway #97 between Okanagan Falls and Osoyoos, Oliver is located beside the Okanagan River and Tec-el-nuit Lake.
